How to Determine Your Switch Needs
How many terminals are on the bottom of the switch? What are the terminal numbers? There should be terminal numbers near the terminals, an example would be 1a, 1, 1b or 13, 11, 12 or 1, 2, 3. These are either on the bottom of the switch next to the terminals or on the side of the switch near the bottom.

What color is the switch and rocker. Is there printing on the face of the switch, an examle would be "ON/OFF" or "I O"? Is the switch illuminated? When the switch is rocked what happens, does it snap back by itself? Does it stop in the middle?
